is an excellent book. It is hard to even describe the story without giving so much away. But I will be cryptic! Safe Haven follows Katie and Alex. Katie is a new resident in the small town of Southport, NC (I think all of Sparks books are in NC). Alex is a long time resident who is a widowed store owner. Katie develops friendships with both Alex, and a next door neighbor, a woman named Jo. Katie past hides dark secrets and a life that she wants and needs to forget and leave behind. And with Alex, she begins to do just that. This story is wonderful love story of accepting love in your life, and finding the true Safe Haven that love can bring you.
This story is incredible. It is a typical tear jerker, as all of Sparks novels are, but it is a tender and sweet story. It forces you to see the love in your own life, makes you want to take risks!
This is a book that everyone should take the time to read.
